Because it is a very thin material, it must be protected from sharp objects and unintended impacts. However, this thinness is also its greatest advantage, as it boasts exceptional responsiveness and sound projection.
It produces full and robust mid-range tones, as well as strong and bright highs. For this reason, it lends itself very well to the playing style known as the “Turkish technique,” although you can play it in many different ways.
