These Terms and Conditions govern your purchases on ionpercussion.com and constitute the contract established between you and ION PERCUSSION SL. By placing an order on this website, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the legal information provided herein. Please ensure that you read and understand them before using our website.

PLACING AN ORDER

You may purchase ION PERCUSSION SL products easily by selecting the desired model from our online catalogue at www.ionpercussion.com and clicking “Buy”.

If you experience any difficulty placing your order or navigating our website, please restart your browser. If problems persist, contact us and we will assist you as soon as possible.

PAYMENT METHODS

You may pay for your purchases by credit card, debit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.

If you choose to pay by card, Visa, American Express, and MasterCard are accepted. Payments are processed securely through Stripe under strict banking security standards. Your card details are transmitted directly to the bank and are not accessible to ION PERCUSSION SL.

ION PERCUSSION SL does not apply additional charges for payments made by bank transfer. If you choose PayPal or Stripe, the corresponding transaction fees may apply.

If payment is not received after the order has been placed, ION PERCUSSION SL reserves the right to automatically cancel the order.

PRICES AND TAXES

All prices displayed on ionpercussion.com include VAT where applicable in accordance with current legislation.

For shipments outside the European Union, the sale may be exempt from VAT in accordance with applicable tax regulations, without prejudice to any taxes, customs duties, or charges that may be applied in the destination country, as set out in the section “International Shipping and Customs”.

PROMOTIONS

Only one discount code may be used per order.

Discount codes automatically generated by third-party applications are not compatible with discount codes issued directly by ION PERCUSSION.

In certain promotions, discount codes may be compatible with items already on sale.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once your order has been received, we will send a confirmation email to the address provided during checkout. Please ensure that you provide a valid and correct email address.

The order confirmation serves as proof of purchase and should be retained for future reference.

SHIPPING

As our products are handcrafted and undergo thorough quality control (finishing, tuning, strings, and final adjustments) prior to dispatch, delivery times may range between 3–15 business days, provided the product is in stock.

In some cases, products are made to order. If the item is not in stock, production time may range between 30–40 business days. We always aim to deliver as quickly as possible and will notify you by email if longer delivery times are expected.

Shipping costs are displayed during checkout and vary depending on destination and package size/weight.

Delivery times are calculated from the moment the order has been processed and dispatched.

Please note that customized products (such as laser engraving) may extend delivery times.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS

All orders destined outside Spain are shipped from Spain.

Shipments outside the European Union are made under DAP (Delivered At Place) conditions in accordance with Incoterms® 2020 of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Under DAP terms, the buyer acts as the official importer in the destination country and assumes full responsibility for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, administrative charges, or other costs imposed by local authorities or the carrier.

ION PERCUSSION SL has no control over customs duties or import taxes, as these vary depending on local regulations and product classification. We strongly recommend that customers contact their local customs office prior to placing an order to determine potential import costs.

The buyer is responsible for providing any documentation or additional information required by customs authorities for proper clearance.

ION PERCUSSION SL shall not be liable for delays caused by customs procedures, inspections, holds, or actions taken by authorities in the destination country.

If the buyer refuses the shipment due to unpaid customs duties, taxes, or failure to provide required documentation, ION PERCUSSION SL reserves the right to deduct from any refund all costs incurred, including outbound shipping, return shipping, storage fees, customs handling charges, and any other related expenses.

Risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers to the consumer when the goods are delivered and physically acquired by the consumer or a third party indicated by the consumer.

GENERAL SHIPPING CONDITIONS

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery address changes are no longer possible.

Any request for redirection or change of delivery address after dispatch may result in additional charges equivalent to the shipping cost.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details are accurate and complete.

Any additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer shall be borne by the customer.

TRANSPORT DAMAGE CLAIMS

Orders are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. Upon delivery, customers must inspect the package and note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

There is a limited timeframe established by carriers to file transport damage claims. Once this period expires, no transport claims can be accepted. This does not affect the statutory warranty period.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Customers may return products within 14 calendar days of receipt, provided the item is unused and in original condition.

Customized products (including laser engraving) cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error attributable to ION PERCUSSION SL.

Returned products must be shipped at the customer’s expense and adequately packaged. We do not accept returns sent freight collect.

For returns from countries outside the European Union, all transport costs, customs clearance fees, re-import taxes, and any related charges shall be borne entirely by the customer. Returned goods must arrive free of duties and charges. Otherwise, such amounts may be deducted from the refund.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method once the returned product has been inspected and approved.

Until the returned product is received at our facilities, it remains under the customer’s responsibility.

WARRANTY

All ION PERCUSSION SL products purchased within Europe are covered by a limited two-year warranty from the date of delivery, in accordance with European consumer protection law.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, excessive force, humidity, or extreme temperatures

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage to the front plate

• Internal strings or snare wires

• Damage caused by third-party modifications or repairs

• Products purchased outside official sales channels

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

If repair is not possible and the defect is attributable to manufacturing error, the product will be replaced with the same or equivalent model, subject to availability.

FINAL NOTE

Even after the statutory warranty period has expired, we remain committed to assisting our customers and supporting their instruments whenever possible.
